Aumi Tao and its associates provide their services to you subject to the following conditions. If you visit or shop within this website, you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully. ​Changes to this policy may be made periodically.

Membership accounts

If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you are under 18, you may use our website only with involvement of a parent or guardian. Aumi Tao and its associates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.

Content accuracy

Aumi Tao and its associates attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

For Customers

Shipping prices

Shipping prices are calculated automatically based on a product’s weight and size. Because of the nature of postage calculation, shipping prices may not always be accurate. In this scenario, we will contact you directly and either provide a partial refund or request additional payment.

Risk of loss

All items purchased from Aumi Tao are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. You can contact the vendor directly to see if they offer additional tracking and insurance.

Refund policy

As a general rule, Aumi Tao’s vendors not provide refunds due to change of mind; however, this is ultimately at the individual vendor’s discretion. Under Australian law, the vendor must provide a refund or replacement for items that are faulty or vary significantly from their description. Refunded items must be returned to the vendor at the buyer’s expense. Please contact the vendor directly to request a refund.

For vendors

Vendor responsibility

Vendors ae considered an independent contractors. The Terms & Conditions agreement does not establish an employer/employee relationship between Aumi Tao and the Vendor, and the Vendor agrees to be solely responsible for their own activities, including, but not limited to, their store management, products, services, customers, communications, sales, payments, and refunds.

The Vendor specifies that they have the expertise, knowledge and experience needed to provide their products or services. Additionally, the Vendor agrees to ensure all of their products or services adhere to local and Australian laws.

All activities facilitated by the Vendor will be supervised by Aumi Tao. We may make changes to the Vendor’s activities, products, or services at our discretion.

Commission

Aumi Tao takes a 20% commission for all sales facilitated by our services. This refers to any sale whereby the Vendor or their customer used a feature of the Aumi Tao website (including, but not limited to, the appointment manager calendar, the shopping cart and payment gateways, the customer messaging system, or if a customer makes an order directly through the contact information displayed on your Vendor profile page). The remaining profits can be withdrawn by the Vendor at any time.

For manual payments taken by the Vendor, the Vendor will accept invoices for commission fees on a monthly basis, and will, upon validation of fees, make payment within thirty days.

Liability

Aumi Tao cannot be held liable for any loss or damage that occurs as a result of using our website, save in cases of gross misconduct or negligence by Aumi Tao or its representatives. Vendors agree to use our services at their own risk.

Termination

Either party may terminate the Vendor agreement by providing written notice to the opposite party within 10 days of the termination requested date. Upon the Vendor’s termination, all unpaid debts owed to either party up to the point of termination will be due within 30 days.
